At Assocalzaturifici’s AGM the footwear industry’s results were presented for the year 2017 and the first quarter of 2018. In 2017 Italian exports were just short of 9.2 billion euro (+3.5%), but 2018 has started with results that were lower than expected (export +0.1% in value). Pilotti: “It has been a lukewarm start, but let’s not be too disheartened”.

Così il settore calzaturiero raccoglie idee dalle giovani generazioni sulle scarpe e sulle fabbriche di calzature del futuro Si è svolta oggi la sfida finale del concorso Europeo “Shake the Future of the Footwear sector. The Talent Shoe 2018”. Il format innovativo del talent show è stato vincente per coinvolgere gli studenti e stimolarne la progettualità. Oltre al progetto sono stati determinanti, quindi, anche la bravura e l’originalità nell’esposizione delle idee. Alla gara hanno partecipato 8 squadre di giovani tra i 16 e 25 anni che studiano nelle scuole professionali del settore calzatura e moda di tutta Europa, divise in due categorie: “Progetto di una calzatura innovativa e futuristica”, e l’ambizioso tema “La fabbrica di calzature del futuro”.
