Mit deutlicher Mehrheit haben die Abgeordneten des Europaparlaments am 12. Februar 2020 das EU-Vietnam-Freihandelsabkommen verabschiedet. Nun hat die vietnamesische Nationalversammlung das Abkommen ratifiziert. Die EU und Vietnam müssen sich nun gegenseitig mitteilen, dass alle notwendigen rechtlichen Schritte abgeschlossen sind. Wenn dies im Juni geschieht, tritt das Abkommen zum 1. August 2020 in Kraft.

IGEDO Company has moved the date for the special format Gallery FASHION, Showroom Concept and Gallery SHOES. The industry event is now taking place from 28 August until 1 September 2020 (instead of from 30 August until 3 September 2020) at the Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf.
This means that the merged core event of Gallery FASHION and Gallery SHOES will now run from Sunday to Tuesday, 30 August until 1 September 2020, which were the dates originally scheduled for Gallery SHOES. And these new dates now also include a Sunday, which will please shoe retailers in particular. The Showroom Concept will start on Friday, 28 August 2020 before the originally planned Gallery tradeshow weekend – and therefore coincide with the start of Supreme in Düsseldorf. All in all, the total event will run for five days until 1 September 2020.
Having carried out a careful evaluation of the various options and in consultation with all those involved, from exhibitors and visitors to national and international stakeholders, Riva del Garda Fierecongressi has established the new dates for the next edition of Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags: the events will take place from December 11th to 14th 2020.
“In a constantly evolving context, such as that in which we operate, exceptional decisions sometimes need to be taken: our new choice of dates for Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags aims to safeguard the target markets of these two events. Over the past two months, we have maintained a constant flow of dialogue with exhibiting companies and buyers, both via an on-line survey and direct discussions with Representative Institutions and International Agencies. As a result of this careful analysis and opinion-seeking, what has emerged is a common desire not to accept the moment passively, but to react, aiming to turn the crisis into an opportunity,” states the Chairman of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, Roberto Pellegrini.
Dopo un’attenta valutazione degli scenari possibili e dopo aver consultato tutti gli operatori coinvolti - espositori, visitatori e stakeholder internazionali e locali -, Riva del Garda Fierecongressi ha individuato le nuove date delle prossime edizioni di Expo Riva Schuh e Gardabags: le manifestazioni si terranno dall’11 al 14 dicembre 2020.
“In un contesto in continua evoluzione come quello in cui ci troviamo a operare, è necessario prendere decisioni eccezionali: la scelta delle nuove date di Expo Riva Schuh e Gardabags mira a salvaguardare il mercato di riferimento delle due manifestazioni. Negli ultimi due mesi abbiamo mantenuto costantemente aperto un canale di dialogo con aziende espositrici e buyer, sia con un’indagine online, sia attraverso confronti diretti con Istituzioni di Rappresentanza e Agenzie internazionali. Da questo attento lavoro di analisi e ascolto è emersa la volontà comune di non vivere passivamente il momento, ma di reagire provando a trasformare la crisi in un’opportunità”,afferma il Presidente di Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, Roberto Pellegrini.
Procede regolarmente l’organizzazione della più importante rassegna fieristica internazionale del comparto. Indagine MICAM: l’80% delle aziende penalizzato in modo diretto dall’emergenza, ma i calzaturieri sono determinati a ripartire. La manifestazione strumento di rilancio per il 75% delle imprese italiane ed estere.
Voglia di ricominciare, con la consapevolezza di una ripresa complessa e graduale, guardando a MICAM, in programma dal 20 al 23 settembre a Fiera Milano Rho, come a un’opportunità importante per ripartire. È questo il sentiment delle aziende calzaturiere e dei compratori che emerge dalla survey commissionata dal Salone Internazionale delle Calzature per ascoltare le esigenze del settore in questo momento delicato.
Am 24. Juni hat in Offenbach die turnusmäßige Mitgliederversammlung des Bundesverbands der Schuh- und Lederwarenindustrie HDS/L stattgefunden. Bedingt durch die in Corona Zeiten außergewöhnliche Situation hatte der Vorstand den HDS/L Mitgliedern die Möglichkeit einer virtuellen oder physischen Teilnahme angeboten. Beides wurde genutzt: Über 20 Personen waren in die weitläufigen Räumlichkeiten der Messe Offenbach gekommen und ebenso viele Mitglieder waren virtuell präsent.
Seit der letzten Versammlung im Mai 2019 sind drei neue Mitglieder hinzugekommen: die Firmen AstorMueller AG und Filii GmbH als ordentliche Mitglieder sowie BASF Polyurethanes GmbH als Fördermitglied. Im Rahmen der Mitgliederversammlung wurden Vorstand und Geschäftsführung einstimmig entlastet. Auch der Jahresabschluss wurde einstimmig genehmigt, der Etatvorschlag für 2020 angenommen.
