The event “tag it! – the private label show”, previously part of the international shoe and accessory exhibition GDS in Düsseldorf (which was held for the last time in February), will be standing on its own feet in the future. Between 27 and 29 August, 2017, the trade show will be continued by a new organiser in the same location. This well-known ordering and communication platform specialises in sourcing and private labels in the shoe segment and is open to all visitors. More than 100 exhibitors from Asia and Europe who will be presenting their collections at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition centre in hall 8b, are expected.

New concept, new organiser:
the well-known sourcing and private-label trade fair for shoes and accessories will stay in Düsseldorf and will continue to focus on shoes and accessories for price-conscious consumers. “tag it!” is a space for professionals and decision makers seeking direct access to Asian and European producers. Its visitors include shoe manufacturers, chains, suppliers, mail orders and representatives of discounters and department stores. The trade fair gives international purchasers the opportunity to compile optimal collections at just the right time.

The new “tag it!” is organised by 3s GmbH & Co. KG from Mönchengladbach and UnionFair Ltd. from Guangzhou. “The fair has made a reputation for itself, and there is high demand for it. This is why we will continue focussing on shoes and accessories for the international, price-conscious market,” Philipp Johnen, CEO of 3s, emphasises.

“tag it!” intends to reinvent itself with new stand concepts and special marketing tools for visitors to offers its visitors and exhibitors genuine value. “Düsseldorf is a household name in the shoe industry thanks to GDS, and it is excellently connected. We are glad that we get to stay at its exhibition centre,” Johnen states. The “tag it!” fair will constitute an independent, Asian equivalent to the “Gallery Shoes”, which is held simultaneously at Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf. The two events are only a short distance away from each other. A free bus shuttle between the two trade fairs will be provided by the organiser of tag it.
