Who is Atom?

Atom was born in 1946 in the heart of the tradition of the mechanic-shoemaking district based in Vigevano. The company was created as a result of the intuition of three young entrepreneurs, Luciano Deambrosis, Lorenzo Gaia and Emiliano Cantella who were united by shared values and a vision of the future. In a few years, Atom established itself as an International leader for cutting solutions. Atom developed cutting edge technology applied to various production sectors, that could be adapted to all industrial processes utilising flexible and semi-rigid materials including: rubber and plastics, fabrics, footwear, leather-goods, packaging, gaskets, sports equipment as well as products in the oil, gas, medical, automotive and audio visual industries. In 70 years of activity, Atom has created 5 production plants in Italy and abroad, with branch offices in 10 countries and has manufactured and sold more than 250,000 cutting systems on a worldwide basis.
