Technology and innovation are key to the transformation and competitiveness of brands in the fashion sector

MOMAD 4.0 will include a display, workshops and talks on e-commerce, logistics, distribution, virtual storage, international projection and much more

Madrid, 25 January 2018.- MOMAD Metrópolis, the International Fashion Show organised by IFEMA, is launching the new MOMAD 4.0 sector in its first 2018 edition, to be held from 2 to 4 February.

The inclusion of this new space in the event, in collaboration with Adigital, the Digital Economy Association,  is meant to address the fashion industry's need - between brands, manufacturers and retailer - to pay attention to digital transformation as one of its growth levers. “The growing digitisation of productive processes has sparked the so-called fourth industrial revolution, or Industry 4.0, where efficient resource allocation and adaptation to needs are also fundamental,” says Jaime de la Figuera, Director of MOMAD.

The show will therefore welcome all of the players involved in this process and allow professional visitors to discover new 4.0 solutions that generate greater value and innovation at the point of sale, bringing them the tools they need to stay competitive.

MOMAD 4.0 will have a display area at the heart of the connection between Halls 12 and 14, where it will include companies like Retail Rocket, Orbitvu, Modaes.es, Nedap Iberia, JIG and Looking for Brands, among others. Its proposals range from e-commerce, logistics, technology applied to retail, icloud virtual storage solutions or equipment to internationalisation in the era of the omnichannel.
