Kartell à la mode and Italian-Brazilian designer Paula Cademartori, founder of the luxury handbag and footwear brand of the same name, continue their partnership with new offerings for the fall/winter 2017/2018 season.

The new line includes Rosas, a solid clutch offering up a new concept of transparency and decorations typical of the collection, and Barbarella, that reinterprets the rain boot in an urban chic key with floral appliqués: a reference to nature that carries us away to exotic far-off lands to “warm us up” on chilly days. Flowers are the leitmotiv in this partnership between Kartell and Paula Cademartori, a choice reflecting the values shared by the two brands, both of which are inspired by a fun and colourful mood along with strict attention to detail, quality and a quest for style.

Barbarella provides a distinctly feminine alternative to rain boots, which have become a necessity for the winter season. They are easy to spot with their narrow toe, one-inch heel and glossy finish. They are made of soft rubber and feature the classic stitching of leather along the calf. Barbarella is available in four colours: ink blue, black, nude and raspberry. Expressing a more exuberant and glamorous style, another version flaunts appliquéd 3D rubber flowers in various colour combinations (black boot with black flowers, nude boot with ink blue flowers, and ink blue boot with raspberry flowers).

Rosas offers a new interpretation of the clutch, pairing transparency with a pretty selection of refined decorations, fine meshes and circular patterns with a unique appeal. A three-dimensional star opening gives the bag an elegant finishing touch. The designer took her inspiration from exotic lands, a constant in the collection, to create a definite and contemporary femininity.

The clutch is made of a transparent or mass-dyed thermoplastic technopolymer and features a chain shoulder strap. Rosas is available in solid black, as well as crystal, smoky grey, amber, petroleum and blue transparent versions. It also comes in solid black/crystal and transparent blue/ crystal pairings.

The new line provides continues the partnership born last year with the spring/summer 2017 collection that featured the Parati handbag and Claudia sandal. It expands the Kartell à la mode offering born in 2008 that is dedicated to producing and marketing fashion accessories in partnership with the fashion system’s top designers.
