There is less than a month to go until the next edition of Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags, the marketplace dedicated to volume footwear and leather goods, scheduled from January 11th to 14th at the Riva del Garda Exhibition Centre.
Increasingly international, informative and digital-oriented. This is the identity with which Expo Riva Schuh is getting ready to once again be the star of the worldwide volume footwear scene in just under a month’s time.
It is the only event sure to guarantee a qualified business and global experience to professionals who come from over 100 different countries. The 93rd edition of Expo Riva Schuh will take place alongside Gardabags, an event dedicated to leather goods, making the exhibition truly complete.
Determined to maintain and consolidate its position in the sector’s international arena by engaging with new visitors, the event will be increasing all its incoming initiatives in 2020. Indeed, visits have already been confirmed from a dozen or so delegations of buyers from Peru, Colombia, Romania, Croatia, Poland, Sweden, Russia, the Ukraine and Kazakistan organised both by the Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags Study Centre and also by ITA, the Italian Trade Agency and MAECI (Ministry for Foreign Affairs).
Amongst the various research activities to find new visitors and exhibitors, is the 2019 “Around The World” tour, a business-oriented format which brought the event to St Petersburg on December 5th. “The company has undertaken two different approaches to reacting to the changes in the fashion market: a clear move towards new technology and the promotion of training opportunities designed to offer technical know-how as well as more specific understanding of the trade fair. If, on the one hand, the internet and social networks assure a new, fresh approach to our various target markets, on the other hand, meeting decision-makers in person is still fundamental for us. This is the key to a solid and authoritative brand reputation” - according to Carla Costa, Manager of the Exhibitions Department of the organising company, Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, during the event in Russia.
The insights and technical content offered during the “Around The World” tour were an effective way of introducing the latest addition to the next edition of the event – Trade Fair Training.
During the four days of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags, there will be a wide variety of informative opportunities on offer in the multi-purpose ‘Hangar D’ area, within Hall D.
This programme of on-site technical meetings is not the only news, however. There will also the new North Entrance, making it easier for visitors interested in bags, leather goods and small accessories to reach Gardabags and facilitating access to the companies situated in Hall C of Expo Riva Schuh.
So, the dates for the 93rd edition of Expo Riva Schuh and the 4th Gardabags are from January 11th to 14th 2020 at the Riva del Garda Exhibition Centre, for a fair that is increasingly international, informative and digital, working in close synergy with the global fashion system.
