Footwear Tecnological Center SENAI.

O hoje CENTRO TECNOLOGICO DO CALCADO SENAI, iniciou suas atividades em 1946, com o objetivo de atender as industrias da regiao, quanto a necessidadede recursos humanos capacitados para o processo produtivo.

A necessidade de atualizacao, tanto nos aspectos teoricos  como da pratica profissional, exigiram a implantacao de  um bem equipado Laboratorio Industrial de Fabricacao de  Calcados, permitindo aos alunos vivenciar as diversas fases da confeccao  de calcados, com a utilizacao de maquinaria apropriada,  bem como a implementacao do Laboratorio de Controle da  Qualidade para atender as industrias da regiao.

O Centro Tecnologico do Calcado SENAI possui um Sistema de Gestao  da Qualidade de acordo com a NBR ISO 9001:2000, com o Programa Gaucho  da Qualidade e Produtividade e esta em um processo de melhorias continuas,  visando garantir a qualidade dos nossos servios, norteando as acoes  pelo seu Plano Estrategico.

National Center of Leather and Footwear.

The National Centre of Leather and Shoes "C.N.C.C." is a public institution established by law nr.69/9 dated 24 January 1969 and placed     under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry.

The Centre statutes have been modified three times (Law nr. 82/44 dated 25 may 1982, Law nr.93/101 dated 20 October 1993 and Law nr.95/439 dated 13 March 1995) in order to allow the Centre follow the development of the economic situation and to fit the evaluating reality of sector's firms. The last law's subject concerned the setting of standard statutes of technical centres operating in the industrial sectors.

The C.N.C.C. acts for development and promotion of the leather and shoe sector in Tunisia.

Equipped with testing stations and analysis laboratories, the C.N.C.C. gives assistance to the sector's different fields of activity: rawhides collection, tannery, shoes, fine leather goods, leather clothing and annexed industries.

In order to, efficiently, assist operators in the leather industries sector, the C.N.C.C. puts at the profession disposal a number of services  carried out by its different departments: Technical department (shoes, fine leather and clothing only), laboratories, rawhides, tannery, training, handicraft, promotion and information.

The International Testing Centre of FDDI offers a comprehensive range of testing services for leather, plastics, rubbers, packaging materials, textiles footwear, paints and sports goods.

FDDI is an ISO 9001 organization and the testing centre` is the first laboratory in the world to get accreditation from the FPI Germany.

The testing Centre was set up in collaboration with Bally, Switzerland and is a member of Satra U.K. The Centre is also approved by DSG & D. The laboratory has a long term collaboration agreement with PFI Germany for providing us latest technology, training research and advisory services.

The laboratory is well equipped with sophisticated computerized equipment and is manned by highly qualified personnel.

Our professional standards are high and all testing is done in keeping with international quality norms. The test can be performed as per DIN, BS, CEN, ASTM and ISI standards.

The testing Centre also undertakes research projects from the industry for quality control, modification of the existing processes and products as well as development of new products.
