I am currently a graduate student at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco studying fashion design. In May we will be having a fashion show  in which I would love for the models to wear custom designed shoes.  The base of the shoe is primarily of wood and should have some sort of support for the upper foot. The designs are inspired by those worn in the Turkish bathes. I wonder if there is anyone out there who able and   willing to assist me in the production of these shoes.

I am interested in finding a manufacturer (custom or production) willing to produce a line of footwear I am designing. Most of the line is based upon platform, wedge and dress inspired styles. Materials would include wood, injection moulded plastics and rubber platform styles. Production is initially would be in the 100's or low 1,000's.I do have several pre-production mock-ups in completed stages ready to be looked at. I am also interested in talking to other's in the same field of interest and am willing to show and share some of my work and ideas. In conclusion, I would also be extremely interested in an opportunity to work in the industry, with a company or design house.
