TASD, Footwear Industrialists Association of Turkey aims to gather sector members that adopt footwear industry as occupation and add value to this sector with their knowledge and skills, improve this industrial branch in technical and economical aspects and increase its international competitiveness. Adopting the principle of satisfying professional and social needs of the footwear industry, contributing to the development of the industry and determining the issues which will be requirements, TASD was established in 1985 in İstanbul for providing assistance to enacting laws and decrees and contributing in solution of the problems of the footwear industry by establishing contacts with concerning authorities.
