Marc attended Pratt Institute and graduated in 1998. He studied industrial design and majored in transportation design. He was in the top designer in his class, the first to attend transportation design as a sophomore, receiving numerous awards. He also received a scholarship from Mitsubishi for his work at the New York International Auto Show. He has worked on numerous product designs. While at Pratt he worked in 3-d model making sculpture and fine arts. He works really well on the computer but is known for his powerful drawing style.
He started Fila in 1995, working and going to school full time. While at Fila he was in charge of performance basketball design, working with such athletes as Grant Hill, Jerry Stackhouse and Chris Webber. He built relationships with athletes making part of the design process. He also worked on other sport projects such as performance running and cross training, which consisted of specialized shoes for Sammy Sosa and Eddie Murray. Marc left Fila in 2000 for a great opportunity at Sole City as design director.
Currently working on Avirex Footwear, Marc works closely in all aspects of new product development including marketing, sales, and leading the design team. He has created a diverse and intruiging line at Avirex which has given them a fresh new look. In addition to footwear, Marc has redesigned the marketing materials, catalogs and packaging.
