Dermatex was established in 1991, its scope of business being wholesale trade, and imports and exports of footwear. The company started the wholesale trade as late as in the mid-1995. Until then, foreign trade had been the company's major business activity.

The company offers a wide  range of ladies, men's, children's and sporte footwear purchased from both domestic and foreign suppliers. The company plans to extend the range of shoes supplied by domestic manufacturers. As a footwear dealer the company covers the whole territory of the Czech Republic and takes part in all major exhibitions where sale contracts are concluded. The company is a member of the Garant association. The greatest number of orders is secured through the agency of the company's trade representatives and at contracting exhibitions.

At present, the company's staff is 12 employees.
