The company was founded in Fornos, Santa Maria da Feira more than fifty years ago by a visionary- Joaquim José Heitor who with his awareness and perseverance successfully led the company through difficult years in the Portuguese footwear industry. Nowadays, the company management is mainly assured by the third generation of Heitor´s family.
